Excellent 5 star town house with stunning Georgian features and elegant staircase arranged as a maisonette over 3 floors.

Chequergate has two double bedrooms, a twin bedroom, lounge, dining room, 2 bathrooms, kitchen/diner, balcony, off road parking and office - simply stunning.

Bedrooms

Two double bedrooms and a twin bedroom with elegant Sanderson bedding (or an alternative childrens bedding to make children feel more at home).

The double bedrooms are on the second floor and out of season have wonderful views opposite across to the Louth manor house.  

The Twin bedroom, on the first floor has lots of space with its own flat screen TV and DVD player and has a superb adjacent shower room and WC.

Bathrooms

Chequergate has two bathrooms, the main bathroom on the second floor has a sloping ceiling with views from the Velux windows across the town.  It has modern twin ceramic basins with a range of sleek white units underneath and WC. 

The whirlpool bath has 6 adjustable jets and is huge - with the taps positioned centrally there's plenty of room for two!

The second bathroom (already mentioned) is on the first floor and has a 1200mm shower with double sliding glass doors and an exhilarating Victorian power shower. It has a WC and basin and like the main bathroom, has a chrome towel rail to keep those towels warm and dry and ready for use.

Kitchen and Dining

The kitchen has all modern appliances including a 5 burner gas range with electric fan oven, grill and plate warmer. There is a  dishwasher and private balcony.  Informal dining can be in the kitchen at the more rustic kitchen table or sat out on the south facing balcony enjoying the afternoon sun.

For more formal occasions the range is perfect for entertaining combined with Chequergates fabulous dining room with mahogany table and 8 seats.  

The dining room with its elegant cornice and Georgian fireplace looks out across Eastgate to the Louth manor house opposite which is the perfect backdrop for any family meal.

Living Room

The spacious lounge has TV, Video and DVD, CD player and a warm Victorian fire with modern gas fire. 

There is a library of books and games and also a film library with films suitable for all ages.

This town house is spread over 3 floors and is therefore not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties or toddlers. However children from 3 years and up will love it - lots of stairs, great to play hide and seek and we provide plenty of games and films for them to watch - and just minutes from the cinema, theatre and shops (for essential sweets of course!)

Chequergate lends itself to business use for anyone visiting and staying over in Northern Lincolnshire. Our dining room is the perfect venue for a meeting and the office has a desk and printer. Like all our apartments, Chequergate has WiFi broadband internet in every room.

All apartments are situated on Eastgate in Louth and are each named after well known Louth streets.
