Upgate is our only penthouse and is just super for romantic couples or
for those wanting somewhere out of the way and a place to escape. It is
such fun to while away the hours looking down on passers by from
the lounge window completely unseen or to relax in a comfy armchair and
read through one of the many books in Upgates library.
This
penthouse has 1 double bedroom, a kitchen, bathroom and lounge with
plenty of Georgian features, spindles and mahogany hand rails which make
this a most interesting apartment and a pleasure to stay in. The
entrance of this penthouse is on the first floor with stairs up to the
second floor.
Bedroom
Upgate has a double bedroom with Dorma bedding and views towards the
Louth manor house which out of season are truly wonderful.
The
penthouse has period furniture with Edwardian wardrobe and dressing
table and matching bedside cabinets in mahogany with a delightful early
19th century Georgian hob grate fireplace dating from 1810.
For a
small charge, using our foldaway guest bed in the lounge, this apartment
would suit a family of three.
Bathroom
The
bathroom has a sloping ceiling with Velux window and views across town
with a bath with glass "Showerlux" sail screen and a shower over, with
basin and WC.

Just
like the bathroom there are sloping ceilings in the kitchen with

lounge has DVD player, VCR and widescreen TV and there is a large
library of books - the perfect place to inspire any budding writers or a
comfortable retreat to relax .

Guests staying
in the penthouse also have use of the sun terrace on the ground
floor and of course the laundry room with washing machine and dryer.
For walkers and cyclists there is a drying room with maps and guide
books on the ground floor which all guests are free to use.
Due to the stairs this apartment is not suitable for people with
walking difficulties and for very young children under 3 years.

This penthouse is perfect for anyone visiting and staying over in
Northern Lincolnshire on business as well as holidays. Like all our
apartments, Upgate has WiFi broadband internet in every room and we
can provide guests with a printer to use with their lap tops on
request. |
