A well kept secret indeed ! - but where is Lincolnshire?

Despite being one of Englands largest shires, Lincolnshire is  thankfully unspoilt by the crowds and even in the 21st Century can boast relatively empty roads. This is great news for the visitor as Lincolnshire is in the centre of England and is only a few hours from London or Edinburgh being served by the M180 to the north and A1 and A16 in the south.

Romantic Breaks

Lincolnshire is for lovers young and old - at anytime of year.

There's a deserted beach just waiting for your bare feet, a castle to explore and a walk through ripening corn for you both to enjoy. Whenever you choose to getaway the accommodation will be just perfect if you book your stay with us .

May we recommend Ramsgate or Upgate apartments- they're just made for two!

Discover Market Towns

Louth is the capital of the Wolds and one of the largest of the rural market towns. It has everything you would need for your selfcatering holiday with dozens of indepedant shops and a  supermarket just metres from our apartments. Other market towns in the county include the Georgian market town of Stamford and Boston to the south and Brigg to the north. The Wolds  has several outstanding Market towns on its boundary including the Antiques town of Horncastle and Alford, Spilsby and Woodhall Spa.

The Great Outdoors

If you're looking for excitement or just after a break from the hustle of the office then Lincolnshire has it all. Gliding, Riding, Fishing, Golf, Walking and Cycling are just a few of the many outdoor pursuits which can be enjoyed throughout the county. There is reason to visit the county throughout the year with excellent bird watching reserves  scattered along the coast and the annual Grey Seals which visit Donna Nook (10 miles from Louth) in November and December.

We have walking maps and guides with routes from the apartments at All Seasons and can thoroughly recommend the walking to our guests. Routes along the canal are delightful and the round Louth walk at 16 miles long will satisfy even the hardened walker

Family Holidays

Families will just love the choice of attractions and activities at All Seasons  as we are minutes from the countryside and minutes from the coast. There's a choice of rural - Tattershall Castle, Rand Farm, Cadwell Motor Racing Circuit, Jubilee Park at Woodhall, Hubbards Hills, Air Plane Museums, Lincoln Castle and The Collection - or Coastal - Butlins, Seal Sanctuary, Deserted Beaches, Crowded Beaches, Cleethorpes Light Railway and Fishing Museum.

We can recommend our two bedroom, Kidgate Apartment for families.

 Explore The Coast

Surprisingly the Lincolnshire Coast has two very different holidays on offer,The Wild Coast and the Seaside Resorts. The nearest beach to All Seasons is just 10 miles away and is very much the wild coast, even in summer it is rarely visited as the only thing to attract the visitors is sand - with alot of dunes, sea and quite often sun! (Lincolnshire is one the driest counties in England so it shouldn't come as too much of a surprise when the sun shines) . Further to the north lies Cleethorpes and to the south Mablethorpe and further still Skegness all fairly similar resorts of differing sizes supplying the Fun Coast with........Fun! Look carefully though and there are a few hidden gems at Anderby Creek and Sutton on Sea which aren't well known but should be at the top of every visitors list.

Lincolnshire Wolds

No doubt about it but the Lincolnshire Wolds is the East Midlands only Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and exceeds visitors expectations every time.  Excellent walking, cycling and horse riding to be had and some wonderful villages to explore - why not try a spot of church tourism, there are some stunning churches to be seen in every village ? Plenty of pubs with super lunches and Tea rooms for an afternoon snack  at Tealby. Thatched cottages, Farms, Georgian Houses, Elegant Halls and Mansions and fields of colour. Blue for Borage, Yellow for Rape Seed, Red for wild poppies, Green, Brown and Golds, the landscape is an ever changing canvas for the farmers . See it change at every season - in the winter it can be all white with snow , a beautiful sight indeed.!
